May '25 - The Lamb Tavern

Leadenhall Market has become a must-visit destination during our recent visits. There’s really nowhere else quite like it in London. We try to stay in different areas every time we visit London so we can fully experience the special vibe each neighbourhood has to offer. That being said, we somehow always manage to make our way to Leadenhall. This unique Victorian structure, with its myriad dining and shopping options (I suspect this may be the primary reason we keep returning), is a jewel in London’s crown.

At the centre of the Market is the multi-level 18th century Lamb Tavern. It’s a lovely and lively pub that's typically very busy, given its location. Patrons often spill outside to do some people-watching, but you can also get a great view of the market from its second floor. If shopping is not your thing, it makes for a perfect husband-sitting centre. Ladies, you can drop off your husbands with the full knowledge of where to find them after you’re done exercising your credit cards.
